Baby Shower!

Thank you to Holly and all of her hard work to throw us an amazing baby shower at Hallmark. So many people showed up. The only thing that was more thoughtful than the shower, was all of the thoughtfulness in the details. Holly, you are amazingly talented and this shower was exceptional!

Many of you have been asking to see pictures of the nursery. I have finally taken some pictures. Keep in mind that I am still working on it. The walls are bare and there are boxes that need to be unpacked, etc. I think it is turning out really cute, Thanks to everyone who has sent gifts, we are very lucky. I hope Finn likes his room as much as I do. I am in love with my new recliner, I've even considered sleeping in it on some nights when I just can't seem to get comfotable in my bed.

Totally Unrelated to Baby...

Tracy (my sister) and I went to So You Think You Can Dance on Saturday night. Those of you who work with and talk to me frequently know that I am THE biggest fan. It was such a great show. We were actually sad when it was over. It was worth the GIANT staircase that I had to walk up. I recommend the show if it comes to your area. Tracy and I are already making plans to go back to next years tour. :)

Poor, Confused Baby

Well, of course my dad could not come and visit without bringing some Gator attire. Funny enough, David couldn't bear the thought of not having his say in the matter as well. So, now, I think we will have a very confused baby. I hope that I can teach Finn the right way...after all, the mother is always right anyway, right?

My Funny Husband

I was really wanting some cookie cake for about 3 weeks, so this is what David bought for me one day. I really only wanted a piece of cake, but boy was it delicious! It was a very welcome, sweet surprise. He's very thoughtful sometimes! (I thought the message was pretty funny, too).

Every Night Will Be a Safari for Finn

Thanks so much to David's parents for sending us Finn's Zanzibar bedding! It is really starting to look like his room now! I couldn' believe when I opened the package how great everything looks. They sent us pillows, a mobile, the bedspread, bedskirt, window valance, diaper stacker, and sheets! Already Finnley is spoiled by both sets of grandparents, and he isn't even here yet!

New Crib!

Mom and Dad came to visit and we had a great time! They hooked us up with this beautiful crib that David and my Dad promptly put together. I'm glad that little Finn has a place to sleep now. I'll post pictures of the room soon, it is still in progress! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Welcome to Our Miller Family Baby Blog

We are so excited to be so close to welcoming Finnley into our lives. We can't wait to meet him! Time has gone by so quickly! We are busy getting everything ready and I am sure that I am nesting in preparation for his arrival. His room is coming together and it is going to be adorable. Earlier, I was stressing out about having everything just perfect, but I've seemed to relax these past few weeks. We are well into our childbirth classes, which I was hesitant to take. But, now I am glad that we did as we are learning so much. Of course, working with so many women, I've had the chance to hear about everyone's birth experiences...good and bad! All of this has been helpful and I can't wait. Only a couple more months of waiting!
